Southern Rock Tribute 1959 Les Paul is a come true of many a guitarists dreams. With it`s authentic looks and characteristic tone, Southern Rock Tribute 1959 Les Paul is bound to rock many a socks off. This six-string stunner is deeply rooted in Les Paul tradition and legacy. Southern rock tribute model was one of the most demanded additions by the fans, but it took some time to decide which particular model will be chosen as the base. The most natural and logical answer was found in 1959 Les Paul, a model so legendary that it`s often referred to as just "The Guitar", which helped develop and define many different sub-genres of blues and rock music. Today it`s helping another generation of musicians get familiar with the legacies of both Les Paul and southern rock. Solid mahogany body is made of a single piece of wood with a classic two-piece figured maple cap on top. Classic creme binding is featured around the top and blends perfectly with the majestic Reversed Burst color scheme. VOS and Aged variants are available and both of them have a red heart painted around the bridge and bridge humbucker. Classic tune-o-matic/stoptail bar combo is fronted with a pair of Custombucker pickups. These are vintage-styled humbuckers developed especially for the Gibson Custom catalog. Leaning heavily on the original PAFs, Custombuckers offer an unrepeatable experience in combination with Gibson`s classic construction. Two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch form the standard controls unit. Mahogany neck rocks the famous `59 profile in the back and has the maple spline. On it`s top, there is a one-piece rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets with elegant trapezoid inlays. Vintage Kluson tuners are featured on the headstock. The MSRP is set at $,6,583.
