New Arrow range debuts with models in both the upscale ESP E-II range as well as LTD 400 range. LTD Arrow-401 is a black-clad V with asymmetrical prongs and beveled top. The modern and wild design is accompanied by equally wild set of active EMG pickups and heavy duty hardware. Body of this intermediate class axe is entirely made of mahogany, both the back and the beveled top. It is paired with a slim, U-shaped maple neck via the set-thru joint (an intermediate solution between the classic set-in and neck-thru variants). Arrow-401, like its expensive relative from the ESP E-II range, comes only in Black with black hardware and glossy finish. Bridge on the top is a budget variant of the Floyd Rose Original six-saddler found on the E-II Arrow. Pickups on this 401 are EMG 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck position. Master volume knob and the three-way toggle switch make up its control unit. Above mentioned maple neck is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Fingerboard is equipped with extra jumbo frets, locking nut (1.65" wide) and triangle inlays. LTD tuners on the headstock wrap the specs list.
