MH series is a hybrid between the popular M and H series. It takes the best of both worlds - no frills approach of the M series and pizzazz of the legendary H (Horizon in ESP catalog) line. The end result is a line of metal guitars with both looks and great performance qualities. ESP has introduced three MH guitars at 2016 NAMM. MH-401NT is a fixed bridge twin of the also new MH-401FR. 401NT also features active electronics, neck-through construction, standard 25-1/2" scale and black hardware. See Thru Black and Dark Brown Sunburst options are available.
MH-401NT comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany base and quilt maple top. The neck is made of three pieces of maple and has a Thin U profile in the back.24-fret fingerboard is installed on its top. Rosewood fingerboard has thumbnail inlays, 1.65" string nut and 13.77: radius.
EMG supplies the pickups for this monster - 81 for the bridge and 85 for the neck positions. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch are found in the controls unit. Lone tune-o-matic bridge (strings run through the body) and Grover tuners complete one of the most awesome specs lists introduced at this year`s NAMM.
