STEF-B7 is a seven-stringed baritone guitar from the Stephen Carpenter series made by ESP Guitars. It comes with a standard solid, double-cut body and 27" scale. 27 inches is the bare minimum for a guitar to be considered a baritone. This length is recommended for players and bands which play with heavily tuned down guitars. B and lower tunings are generally considered to be baritone tunings, which require longer scales. Body of STEF-B7 is made of alder and it features a neck-through joint. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a pretty basic tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body construction. EMG 81-7 is installed in both the bridge and neck positions. U-shaped maple neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard.
