STEF-B8 is a model from the Stephen Carpenter signature series made by ESP Guitars. This model is very similar to the STEF-B&. In fact, these two are twin models and the only big difference is that B8 has eight, instead of B7`s seven strings. Other than that, everything else is the same. Body of the B8 is solid, double-cut and made of alder, the standard body wood for this series. Also, it features neck-through construction. There`s only one color scheme, it`s black with high gloss finish. Bridge section is equipped with a hardtail bridge with eight saddles and string-through construction. EMG 808 pickups are installed in the front. Maple neck sports the standard U contour and it`s topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard.
