Dark Brown Sunburst Satin
Here comes a little bit dressed up version of the TE-406. It is still the good old 406, but now with a flamed maple top in rich and vintage-styled Dark Brown Sunburst Satin. In contrast tot he sunburst color pattern, ESP installs black hardware with satin finish. Also, to blend in with the discreet aura of this beautiful 406, dark rosewood fingerboard features no inlays, only side dot markers. Top of the body is bound in creme binding, but the neck and the headstock lack the same treatment. Thus far, the DBSBS is the only color scheme, though we`d love to see more (classic Tobacco Sunburst, Cherry Sunburst and Iced Tea spring into mind, maybe some blue, or even orange and purple variants). On the top of the mahogany/flamed maple body, ESP installs the classic six-saddle fixed bridge with black plating and string-through-body construction. EMG`s 81/60 combo reprises its role from the standard 406, offering an astounding level of ferocity and reliability. Maple neck is still bolted to the body and is still covered with a 22-fret fingerboard. Set of six black-clad Grover tuners make sure this beast stays flawlessly in tune after hours of merciless abuse.
