1957 Las paul Goldtop Darkback Reissue is a model from the Les Paul series in Gibson`s Custom division. The power of the golden top was and still is so irresistible, that Goldtop became a model on it`s own. This particular one is a reissue of the 1957 Goldtop with dark paint on the back and sides. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and lain maple top, as it was more than 50 years ago. Top is bound in creme binding and finished in high gloss. Pickups on this one are Burstbuckers and they come with a classic controls setup. Bridge section is also a standard one, with a tune-o-matic and stoptail bar. Mahogany neck is set, fit with '50s contour and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
