Tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar in the back is the predominant bridge option for Gibson and Gibson Custom models. It is around since the beginning and has proven itself as the optimal solution. Sometimes the tune-o-matic bridge is combined with Bigsby, or other vibrato tailpieces, or completely replaced with a locking tremolo system. Sometimes, like on this model, bridge section is equipped with only a stoptail bar. Body of the SG Custom Stopbar Les Paul is solid, doublecut and made of mahogany. Top is flat and finished in high gloss. There is no binding, only a white pickguard. Three '57 humbuckers are installed in the pickups department. Mahogany neck is set-in and equipped with a regular '60s slim taper contour. It`s topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard.
