50 Year Commemorative Flying V is a special model in the Flying V line and it features the most luxurious specs list among the Gibson USA Vs. Solid, V-shaped body is made of mahogany back and flame maple top. Top panel is bound in creme and finished in gloss. Brimstone is the only color scheme available for this model and it is finished in high gloss. Just like the 50 Year Brimstone Explorer, Flying V Brimstone is equipped with gold-plate d hardware. Tune-o-matic bridge, stoptail bar, pickup covers and tuners are all plated in gold. 500T humbucker is installed in the bridge and 496R in the neck position. Neck is a standard one, as it is made of mahogany and it sports the V contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of ebony.
