Explorer is one of the most popular metal guitars to ever hit the stage. Also, it has very modern design, despite being virtually the same as when it was introduced back in the second half of 1950s. This current Explorer Pro is one of the intermediate-upscale Explorers in the current lineup. It comes with a classic single-cut body made of mahogany. Body is flat on top and has pretty much stripped down appearance. Both Natural and Ebony color schemes are finished in high gloss. Traditioanl bridge section has tune-o-matic bridge in the front and stoptail bar in the back. Open-coil humbuckers on this model come with a standard controls unit. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a bound 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
