Firebird X is by far the most advanced guitar Gibson has ever built. It features supreme technology, as well as top-notch construction. Body is solid, single-cut and made of mahogany, It`s paired with a mahogany neck with 23-fret fingerboard on top. Besides the regular three minibucker pickups, Firebird X has a piezo pickup, as well. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch comprise the standard controls unit. Besides them, Firebird X features additional switches, knobs and sliders with which guitar`s tone can be manipulated. Various guitar tones, amp cabinets and effects can be triggered and stored as presets. Also, this guitar features a set of robotic tuners, which can tune the guitar at a touch of a button. maple fingerboard on this model has dot inlays with 'X' marker at the 5th fret.
