Gibson`s SG series of guitars is being updated for the 2013 edition of the catalog. Gibson USA introduces fantastic Gibson Deluxe guitar. It is a mix of traditional and modern features made to satisfy modern players who like their guitars with slightly vintage tone and looks. This gorgeous SG kicks off with well known mahogany-based body. It is covered with a carved flame maple top. Top panel does not feature any binding, nor it has a pickguard. It is all due to vibrant color schemes chosen by Gibson USA. Red Fade, Orange Burst, Lime Burst and Cobalt Fade are finished in nitrocellulose lacquer and are bound to turn eyes wherever they appear. Bridge section is an elaborate one, as it features a tune-o-matic bridge in combination with Bigsby tremolo tailpiece. Entire bridge section is plated in chrome and paired with a set of trusty Grover tuners on the headstock. Pickups are installed in H/H/H pattern and all of them are '57 Classics. Two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Set mahogany neck is equipped with slim taper contour in the back and it`s topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium jumbo frets ans split diamond inlays.

I have had this guitar for over a month now and love it more than the day I got it. Looks stunning,plays fantastic,and the quality is superb. The TogPot feature really puts it over the top, allowing you to blend a myriad of tones. It has a beautiful flame maple top which adds the bite you maybe looking for. Fretboard is fast and effortless to play. If you can find one pick it up and play with it for awhile. You will not be sorry!
