Gibson`s SG model has rarely had a chance to get a fingerboard with more than 22 frets or double locking trem. This time, this SG Diablo got 24 fret fingerboard and a Floyd Rose bridge. this Diablo is made primarily for young players who like Gibson`s models, but want contemporary features. SG Diablo Tremolo starts off with a solid, double cutaway body made of mahogany. The top is carved and contoured and features no binding or pickguards. Diablo is available in inferno`s signature ebony color with high nitrocellulose gloss finish. The bridge section sports a Floyd Rose double locking tremolo with a locking string nut and chrome plating. The pickup combo on this model is PAF 498T with Alnico V magnets in the bridge and PAF 490R Alnico II magnets in the neck position. Controls setup is simple and consists of mater volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch. The neck is a standard mahogany made with SG slim contour and mortise & tenon joint. The fingerboard is made of North American rosewood and equipped with 24 frets, cream binding, acrylic trapezoids, 1.70" wide locking nut and 12" radius. The scale on this model is standard 24-3/4" and tuners are chrome plated Grover Kidney with 14:1 ratio. The MSRP for SG Diablo Tremolo is set at $2,799.
