Shred class of guitars from Gibson offers some tight metal axes with super strong tone and streamlined design. Guitar named simply and shortly Shred V comes with a solid and flat mahogany body. Traditionally, there is no top wood cover on top. Neck is set in, instead of being bolted, as on a vast majority of shred-oriented guitars. Shred V comes only in black color with glossy finish. The hardware is also black. Kahler`s locking tremolo is installed in the bridge section. In it`s front sit two EMG 85 humbuckers. On the other side, archetypal shred guitars have passive pickups. Neck is made of mahogany and it sports the standard V contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
