Gretsch Guitars introduce a new signature artist for 2013. His name is Billy Duffy of the legendary English rock band The Cult. Billy is with The Cult for full 30 years and their music has inspired thousands upon thousands kids to pick up their guitars and write some new pages in the history of rock`n`roll. Billy Duffy`s original and smooth style of playing is unique and gives The Cult so much edge over other similar bands. His signature guitar is also something special, it`s not just a guitar, it is a work of art, as Billy`s music is. It comes with a fully hollow single-cut body made entirely of maple. Maple is the traditional material used for full-sized hollow-bodies. Both the top and back are arched and top is bound in white binding. Also, there`s a pair of "f" holes, one on the each side of the bridge. Bridge section is made up of the adjust-o-matic bridge with ebony base in the front, and Bigsby tremolo bar with trapezoid tailpiece behind it. Filtertron pickups are custom wound by Billy`s specs and feature customized set of controls. Three-piece neck is made of two maple laminates and one walnut. It is set in and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Medium jumbo frets, block inlays, 12" radius and 1.71" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard.
