IC607 is the seven-stringed update of the Iceman series in Ibanez catalog. It was introduced into the series this January at NAMM show. It`s six-string sibling, the IC500 was also introduced in Anaheim. IC507 comes with a standard Iceman body and a set in neck joint. Flat and single-cut body is made of mahogany and it`s paired with a three-piece mahogany/maple neck. White binding around the edges of the top decorates the body of this model. Black is the only color scheme available and it is finished in high gloss. Bridge section sports a Gibraltar bridge with string-through construction. It is painted black, as is the rest of the hardware on this model. Pickups are DiMarzio D-Activators made for seven-stringed guitars. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the small, but deadly efficient controls unit. Set mahogany/maple neck has the characteristic Iceman contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
