RGIM7MH is one of three compound-scaled guitars Ibanez introduced at 2017 NAMM. It is a down-to-earth and no-frills axe, made for both the fan-fret beginners and veterans. Simple construction, simple design and unbeatable playability and tone are hallmarks of this behemoth.
RGIM7MH is a simpler version of RGIM7BC (they`re almost identical, with 7BC model having bocote top on top of the mahogany body), featuring a flat-top mahogany body with no top. The neck is made of five pieces of maple and bubinga and has a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (side dot inlays, 25-1/2"-27" scale, 1.89" nut).
Electronics unit features EMG`s 808 humbuckers (regular 8-string pickups), which work surprisingly well in seven-string compound-scaled environment. Seven-piece Monorail bridge and Ibanez tuners wrap things up.
