Just like the JS32-7 Dinky, JS32-8 Dinky comes with a solid, double-cut body made of basswood and quilt maple. The difference is that while the seven-stringer comes in the Tobacco Burst color (and has only seven strings), JS32-8 Dinky is available only in Transparent Black. Like its seven-string sibling, this eight-string was conceived as a test model for players to dip their toes into the eight-string world, and decide whether they`re buying a ship, or staying on the shore. The basswood/maple body features an eight-saddled hardtail bridge on the top. In front of the bridge, the Jackson high output pickups (passive, humbucking, with ceramic magnets) take care of the tone. They deliver the power and sustain in bucket loads, keeping the clarity throughout the register. As it is customary for the JS series Dinky models, this one features a simple controls unit (one volume knob, one tone knob and a three-position blade switch). Fast and sleek maple neck is a one-piece, and it features the classic bolt-on joint. Rosewood fingerboard on it`s top features 24 jumbo frets with piranha inlays, white binding and the compound 12"-16" radius. The modern AT headstock is home to a set of eight Jackson`s die-cast tuning machines.
