Jackson`s Soloist is the most successful superstrat guitar ever created and, as such, is one of the main pillars of the catalog. For years, Soloist name was linked to the elite and upscale guitars, professional musicians and rich individuals. But in 2015, Jackson infuses the X range with a set of twelve Soloist models. Seven of them are extended range guitars, with seven or eight strings (five seven-strings and two eight-strings). SLATXSD 3-7 Soloist is a seven-string guitar with a solid and contoured basswood body with neck-through construction. Silverburst option comes with a quilt maple veneer on the top, while the Snow White has a flat top. This menacing seven-string rocks a Floyd Rose Special bridge with seven saddles and black plating. Pickups in its front are Seymour Duncans (standard for 2015 X series Soloists). This particular model features the vicious Blackouts in both the bridge and neck positions. They`re controlled through a master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Maple neck is fit with a fast and slim - speed neck - profile in the back, and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Jumbo-sized frets, piranha inlays and the compound 12"-16" radius are also featured on the fingerboard. Jackson`s own tuners, locking string nut and the elongated 26-1/2" scale wrap the features list.
