1957 is one of the hottest and heaviest sounding axes in the 1950s series lineup. Rock, hard rock and heavily overdriven blues are it`s most common playgrounds, though the coil-splitting feature grants a pretty good access to mellower styles and genres. 1957 comes in two options, Amber Trans and Black Wash, both finished in gloss and outfitted with chrome hardware. Core construction features include a swamp ash body, quilt maple top (flamed maple binding, two-piece construction, plastic Tele pickguard), maple neck (modern C profile, bolt-on construction, classic MK headstock), and maple fingerboard (22 medium jumbo frets, 25.5" scale, 1.69" bone nut, 10" radius, black dot inlays). Main hardware and electronics appointments include a Tele bridge, Grover tuners and combined Seymour Duncan/Rockfield pickups (w/MOD 8 electronics).
