408 is the name of pickups made by PRS and the new line of models shares their name. This set of humbuckers is well known for their unprecedented versatility and quality of tone. This time around they come with master tone, master volume, a pair of mini-switches and a three-position blade switch. Other than that, it is a standard PRS guitar. Double cut body is made of mahogany base and maple top. Flamed or Quilt, the player decides. Both variants are beautifully carved and offered in huge number of color options. Bridge can be trem or stoptail bar. Nickel hardware is the basic option, though hybrid and gold can also be ordered. Mahogany neck is made with Pattern contour. 22-fret fingerboard with bird inlays is made of rosewood. Tuning machines are made by PRS.
