McCarty models have been around since 1994 and have always had a special place in PRS catalog. 2017 lineup has three models in the Core series` lineup - two double-cuts and one single-cut. The only single-cut model comes in with a characteristic 24.594" scale, thus its name - SingleCut 594.
Hallmark features of this modern/vintage axe include a figured maple top, short scale and classic set-neck construction. Core construction (tonewood) appointments include a solid, single-cut mahogany body base, two-piece figured maple top (creme binding, classic PRS contour), mahogany neck (pattern vintage profile, glued to the body) and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (bird inlays).
PRS`s Two-piece bridge (made of cast zinc), Tweaked Phase III locking tuners and classic 58/15 LT pickups complete this majestic rocker.
