Singlecut is one of the mainstays of PRS catalog, a pillar along with 22 and 24 models. It was introduced early on and has been around for more than two decades. Over the years Singlecut has diversified and is now available in a multitude of options. S2 Singlecut Semi-Hollow is an S2 Custom tier axe, loaded with all the goods membership in this tier entails and with a semi-acoustic body, to boot. Core construction features include a mahogany body (chambered, single-cut), figured maple top (two-piece construction, beveled, one "f" hole), mahogany neck (Pattern profile, glued to the body) and rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, Bird inlays, 25" scale). Major hardware and electronics features include a PRS Stoptail bridge, locking PRS tuning machines and #7 (covered, humbucking) pickups.
