S2 series was named after Paul Reed Smith`s and PRS`s hometown - Stevensville, MD. Number two in its name is there to signify the continuation of the S series tradition. Models of this series are oriented towards players who want the essence of a PRS axe, without having to pay a kidney and a lung.
S2 Custom 22 Semi-Hollow (2017) comes in five different color options, all finished in gloss and equipped with nickel hardware. Core construction features include a semi-hollow mahogany body, figured maple top (two-piece construction, beveled design, "f" hole on the bass side), mahogany neck (Pattern contour, set-in construction) and rosewood fingerboard (25" scale, Bird inlays, 25" scale).
Major hardware and electronics features include a patented PRS trem bridge, locking low mass tuners and 85/15 S pickups.
