Paul Reed Smith S2 Standard 22 (2017)
S2 Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
S2 Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
Stevensville 2 series (the full name of the S2 series) takes its name after Paul Reed Smith`s home town (and the hometown of PRS Guitars) and is located well below the Private Stock and Core series (but still above the SE range). Its models offer stripped-down looks and full-fledged PRS tone and playability.
S2 Standard 22 is a part of the Standard tier of the S2 range. Standards do not have maple tops, nor classic Bird inlays. Instead, they`re topped with vintage-styled plastic pickguards. Core construction features of this workhorse 22 include a beveled mahogany body, set-in mahogany neck (Pattern Regular contour) and rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, 25" scale, dot inlays).
Main hardware and electronics appointments include a PRS patented tremolo bridge, low mass locking tuners and 85/15 S humbuckers.
