SE Bernie Marsden is placed within the SE Signature series and is a new model for 2012. This guitar was designed and produced in close cooperation with Bernie and a lot of his personal requests are met and built onto the guitar. This model widens the SE Signature range for a solid, 22 fret rock machine. SE Bernie Marsden 2012 signature model comes forth as a solid, single cutaway guitar made of mahogany back and flamed maple top veneer. Currently, vintage sunburst with glossy finish is the only color option available. The top is carved and bound in creme binding. Traditionally, there is no pickguard. The neck is made of mahogany and features a wide fat contour, as majority of LP shaped PRS models. The neck joint is set-in. Rosewood fingerboard comes as a sort of a brand standard and is equipped with 22 frets and bird position inlays. Pickups on this SE signature are PRS SE 245 Treble and PRS SE 245 Bass humbuckers. They are controlled through a setup of split volume controls, master tone knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch. The bridge is a PRS designed stoptail. Nickel plated hardware, 24-1/2" scale and vintage styled tuning machines finish the list.
