With the SE Standard series, PRS aims at the widest audience ever. Price tags under $500, genuine PRS build and playing quality and superb tone of the PRS Designed humbuckers set these Indonesian-made axes far ahead of the competition.
SE Standard 245 is a solid guitar with a short 34-1/2" scale, beveled mahogany body, set-in neck (also made of mahogany) and PRS Designed electronics and hardware. The neck is available with a wide fat profile and a bound 22-fret fingerboard. Like the rest of the SE Standard models, 245 comes in five different variants: Black, Platinum, Tobacco Sunburst, Translucent Blue and Vintage Cherry.
PRS Designed 245 Treble (bridge) and Bass (neck) humbuckers are accompanied by a set of two volume knobs, two tone knobs (no coil-splitting) and a three-way toggle switch. PRS Designed wrap-around bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
