From time to time Schecter introduces a model independent from the regular series, a one-off guitar with a special set or an uncharacteristic combination of features. This time around, Schecter unveils a C-1 FR Special Edition, a white-clad killing machine. T`s body comes as a double-cut, all-solid and it`s made of mahogany. Even though the top is carved, it does not feature a top wood cover. Also, Schecter installs no pickguards on this special C-1. Gloss White is the only color option available for this model and it comes finished in high gloss. Bridge section is equipped with the top option Schecter offers for tremolo-equipped guitars, the original Floyd Rose from the 1000 series. It is plated in black chrome and paired with a locking nut on the opposite side of the 25-1/2" scale. Pickups installed on this model are Seymour Duncan Invaders. They come with master tone, separate volume knobs, push-pull switch for coil-splitting and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body with a set-in joint with ultra access. On top, Schecter installs an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra jumbo frets and custom 12th fret inlay. Tuning machines on the headstock are made by Grover. The MSRP for this model is set at $1,219.
