Powered up with the brand new 2nd generation of the on-board Traveler amp, EG-1 Custom V2 is read to rock the world. This small-sized and full-scaled six-string comes with a set of classic Traveler features, such as the in-body tuning (tuners are located in the middle section of the body), reverse string mounting (strings are loaded from the classic string nut position and go towards the neck), ebonized rosewood fingerboard, etc. Single-cut body of this custom was designed to resemple the Custom of Customs, the legendary LP Custom. It is black, bound in white and black, and fit with gold-plated hardware (bridge, tuners and the pickup cover are plated in gold). Body itself is, however, made of alder instead of mahogany (which would be expected of a guitar which tries to mimick the cult LP Custom). Of course, the carved maple top is out of the question. Thus, the similarities seize and the true Traveler Guitar spirit kicks in. The bridge humbucker is controlled through master volume and master tone knobs. Also, located on the pickup ring, there is an integrated tuner with LED indicators (a neat feature, indeed). Aside from the regular 1/4" output jack, EG-1 Custom V2 also has a headphones jack, and an auxiliary input. Mahogany neck is bolted to the body and it features a 21-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard on the top. Fingerboard is bound in white and has jumbo-sized frets with white block inlays. This piece of six-stringed awesomeness is offered exclusively in black color with gold hardware.
