PX-Solar 6C is one of eight signature models Washburn makes for Ola Englund of Feared and The Haunted. 6C belongs to the upper half of the roster and is considered the perfect choice for players who want a brutal guitar with passive electronics and fixed bridge for reasonable money. 6C kicks off with a solid, double-cut body made of alder and a slim, fast maple neck (this combo was first popularized by Fender Guitars and then taken on by many of the brands which used to copy Teles and Strats). There`s only one color option for this model, the Matte Black. It features black hardware, as well. Bridge section is a pretty regular one, it has a simple fixed bridge with six saddles and black plating. Seymour Duncan SH1 and SH14 in the front guarantee a brutal delivery when in humbucker mode, but when split into single coils(five-position blade switch acts as coil-split switch, as well) they`re capable of producing very nice and smooth clean passages and subtle melodies. Master volume and maser tone knobs complete the controls. Maple neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with the characteristic 12th fret Ola Englund inlay.
