Twenty five acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars and two acoustic-electric basses refresh Ibanez `s Acoustics division lineup this year.
Among around one hundred and twenty models introduced at this year`s NAMM twenty seven belong to the Acoustics division. Twenty five of them are flat-top acoustic and acoustic-electric guitar, while the remaining two are acoustic-electric basses (also flat-top). Artwood Vintage receives seven models, regular Artwood five, PF series is expanded with six models, AE with three and AEW with three as well. Talman series receives one model. Artwood Vintage models include AVD10, AVM10, AVN10, AVD9, AVD9MH, AVC9 and AVN9. Standard Artwoods are AW360, AC320, AC340, AW360CE and AC320CE. New PFs are PF14, PC14, PN14, PN1MH, PF12MHCE and PC12MHCE. AE series` updates include AE500, AE305 and AE245. AEW`s expanded with AEW40FFCD, AEWC32FM and AEW31BC. The only Talman update is affordable TCM50. Acoustic-electric basses include AVCB9CE and AEWB20.
Ibanez AVD10 is one of three models of the upscale “10” tier of the Artwood Vintage series introduced this January. It sports a non-cutaway dreadnought body, (made of solid, Thermo Aged tonewoods), mahogany neck (with 20-fret fingerboard) and Grover hardware.
