AS-E5 is a model from Cort`s AS series of acoustic guitars. It comes with a non-cutaway Dreadnought construction. The body of this model is made of rosewood back and sides and spruce top. Multi-layered binding encircles the top panel and a triple circle rosette decorates the centered sound hole. The top is, as the rest of the guitar, finished in gloss. Bridge is made of rosewood and equipped with a belly shape. There are no electronics installed on this AS, as Cort intended this to be a fully acoustic guitar. Neck is made of mahogany and it sports a C contour. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it is equipped with 20 frets with white dot position inlays. Other features include die-cast tuners and 25-3/10" scale.
