Gibson Songwriter Cutaway Progressive
Square Shoulder Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Gibson
Square Shoulder Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Gibson
The new Progressive class is setting new standards for the acoustic guitar industry. Its two models feature Gibson`s G-Force robotic tuners (a thing never seen on an acoustic guitar before), tune-o-matic saddles instead of a single bone/plastic/Tusq saddle, and a lot more.
Songwriter Cutaway Progressive is one half of the Progressive duo (J-45 Progressive is the other), the more expensive one (costs $3,349). It comes with a single-cut dreadnought body (rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top), one-piece mahogany neck (round profile, hot hide glue construction) and 20-fret richlite fingerboard (Tusq nut). Autumn burst is the only member of the color palette.
Other cool features include L.R. Baggs Lyric electronics system, richlite bridge, tortoiseshell pickguard and MOP/abalone decorations.
