Martin Simpson Signature is one of several acoustic models in PRS catalog. Like the rest of the acoustics with PRS badge, this one competes in the exclusive section of the market. It is made of the best tonewoods and hardware available. The body is made of top grade cocobolo and European bearclaw spruce, a combination which yields a rich and bright tone with good balance and sparkling highs. Brazilian rosewood is optionally available for the back and sides panels. Neck is made of Peruvian mahogany and is topped with a 21-fret ebony fingerboard. Green abalone bird inlays grace the frets. Electronics department is occupied by PRS`s own under-saddle piezo pickup and a custom-voiced 18-volt preamp (also PRS). Ebony bridge with a bone saddle and gold-plated PRS tuners wrap the specs list.
