Private Stock is PRS`s equivalent of a Custom Shop/USA division. It is a home to PRS`s most expensive electrics and acoustics. Only the finest tonewoods and exclusive hardware and electronics are allowed in Private Stock range. All non-signature models are highly customizable. Private Stock Angelus Cutaway kicks off with a single-cut Angelus body, made of koa (back, sides) and Adirondack spruce (top). Optionally, cocobolo and European spruce are offered. Curly maple binding with paua purfling and curly maple/paua rosette decorate the spruce top. Peruvian mahogany is used for the neck. It is attached at the 14th fret and rocks an ebony fingerboard on top (bone nut, paua bird inlays). Players can choose between PRS proprietary piezo pickup/preamp system and Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup/preamp system. Ebony bridge and gold-plated PRS tuners complete the specs list.
