EG440CS belongs to the G series` NEX line of acoustic-electric guitars. This one is a single-cut NEX model with TP4T preamp. NEX is a contour which Takamine derived from the legendary grand auditorium contour and now it`s one of the brand`s hallmarks. Comfortable and with great natural projection, NEX body is perfect for beginners and players who don`t like too big guitars. This one comes with the MSRP set at $649,99, which makes it one of the most competitive models out there. Maple back and sides are covered with flamed maple top. Translucent Black, Translucent Blue and Translucent Red are available with gloss finishes. Bridge is made of rosewood and it comes with a astandard belly contour. 20-fret fingerboard is also made of rosewood. Hardware is made of chrome.
