GN20CE is one of many NEX-shaped models in the G Series side of the catalog. It`s position in G20 series says it is a low-cost guitars aimed at inexperienced players, beginners and players who are looking to add a good and sturdy practice guitar to their collection. GN20CE comes with a single-cut body made of laminated mahogany back and sides and laminated cedar sound board on top. Cedar tops were chosen for the G20 series to contrast the spruce tops found on the G10 series models, as these two series can be, practically, seen as one. G20 series is slightly more expensive, but these two, essentially, aim at the same groups of players. Single-cut body of this affordable steel-stringer is equipped with a side-mounted TP-4T preamp. This preamp can be found on more expensive G series models, as well. It gives a fantastic, very natural tone and offers a basic set of controls, including the tuner. Rosewood bridge is made with the classic belly contour and features synthetic bone saddle and string pins. Mahogany neck has the standard 14th fret dovetail joint in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
