Custom Artist Series has a special place in Martin Guitars catalog, it is reserved for the models designed by famous guitar players. Models from this series are equipped only with the top shelf appointments and are not limited in number or period of availability. The OM Chris Hillman is a non-cutaway model made of spruce top and rosewood back and sides. It is available in sunburst gloss finish with tortoise top binding. The neck is made of hardwood with a low profile contour and a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard is bound in tortoise and features 20 frets with snowflake position inlays and 1.75" wide bone nut. Fingerboard radius is 16" and the scale is 25-1/2" long. Bridge is also made of solid ebony. MSRP is set at $6,999.
