Martin OM-21 Special
Standard Series Acoustic Guitars by Martin
Standard Series Acoustic Guitars by Martin
OM models are virtually the same as auditorium guitars, with the main difference being the sclae length. Auditoriums have 24.9" scales, while the Orchestras have full 25.4" scales. Body length, depth and width of both models is the same. OM-21 Special is one of the most prominent orchestra models in Martin`s Standard series, as it comes with body made of carefully selected solid pieces of wood. Rosewood is used for the back and side panels, while the spruce is used for the sound board and bracing underneath it. Solid wood construction continues on with ebony bridge and fingerboard and hardwood neck. Low profile neck is finished in satin and topped with 20-fret fingerboard on the top. On the headstock, Martin installs a set of six nickel-plated tuning machines.
