Blackbird is the name of the Nikki Sixx`s signature model made by Epiphone. He also has a signature line made by Schecter Guitars. It has similar features and body contour to the Blackbird series. BLackbird is a solid and double-cut bass with 34: scale, bolted neck, black hardware and satin-finished black paint. Body of this model is solid, flat and made of mahogany (traditional Epiphone/Gibson body tonewood). There are no excessive decorations on the top of the body. Traditional black pickguard is inlaid with a custom graphic and is accompanied by a black-plated four-saddle bridge. Pickups compartment is fit with a pair of super strong active humbuckers with standard set of volume and tone control knobs. Maple neck is topped with a regular 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with cool iron cross inlays.
