With SR755, Ibanez aims to offer an affordable all-rounder, a bass which could easily adapt to any style of play or genre of music. Its maple/bubinga body is very well balanced, fit with deep cutaways and slightly carved on top. Maple and bubinga offer a rather neutral base for the powerful Nordstrand pickups which are the heart and the soul of the new 2015 SR755. Single-coiled CND J in the bridge and the split CND P in the middle position offer a huge variety of tonal options, ranging from the vintage pop-rock tone of the P pickup to the massive J tone in the bridge used so frequently in modern rock. The pickups also come with a three-band EQ. Jatoba and bubinga neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with oval inlays.
