KZ 5 is a model from the Z series in the Kingston segment of the MTD catalog. It is one of three five-stringed models, along with the left-handed and fretless versions. KZ 5 is made for the players who are looking for both the outstanding performance quality and beauty in their instruments. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany back and maple burl top. Bridge section of this model is fit with a standard five-saddled hardtail bridge with chrome plating and top-load construction. Pickups combo includes two Bartolini soapbar pickups with a standard five-piece controls unit (master volume knob, pickup balancer knob and a three-band equalizer with bass, middle and treble). 24-fret fingerboard comes in maple and rosewood variants.
