USA V Chicago Flame is a part of the USA Chicago series which is an attempt to revive the original Dean models from the late 1970s. Back is the 1977, Dean GUitars have introduced V, ML and Z models at the NAMM show and kcked off the production. Guitars were made in Chicago back then and the entire Chicago segment introduced at 2013 NAMM is an homage to this glorious period in Dean history. The brand new USA V Chicago Flame model is a solid, V-shaped guitar with body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Body is bound in creme binding and finished in high gloss. There are three color schemes available for this model, Trans Brazilia, Trans Cherryburst and Classic Black. Bridge section sports the tune-o-matic bridge with strings running through the body behind it. Pickups configuration on this model is H/H. DiMarzio supplies a pair of Super Distortion hums for each USA V Chicago Flame model. Neck is a standard one, it`s made of mahogany and it`s equipped with V contour. Bound ebony fingerboard on top has 22 frets with abalone dot inlays and 1-11/16" wide string nut.
