Legendary Peter Frampton has been using various LP guitars throughout his rich and wondrous career and is recognized as one of the LP icons, both among the fans and peers, alike. His long-term relationship with Gibson`s signature artist section is giving us one more in the line of mind-blowing six stringers. This time, it`s simply named Peter Frampton Les Paul. It is a marvelous vintage-styled Les Paul guitar with the iconic three-pickup combo and the 1950s vibe to it. Solid and single-cut body is bound in several layers of binding (both the top and the back are bound). Fingerboard and headstock are bound in matching binding. Peter Frampton Les Paul is available only in Ebony with glossy finish and gold-plated hardware. Classic mahogany/maple body is topped with a two-piece bridge unit plated in gold. In it`s front, Gibson custom has installed following artillery: 500T in the bridge position, `57 Classic Plus in the middle and `57 Classic in the neck position. Classic controls unit is featured along them. Set in mahogany neck is made by Mr. Frampton`s specs and it`s topped with a beautifully bound 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Peter Frampton Les Paul has the list price tag set at $4,999.
