Santana`s signature models are probably the most iconic signature PRS axes ever made. They`ve been there since before the official PRS Guitars` debut in 1985. More than 30 years later, Santana`s guitars continue to inspire musicians all over the world.
Santana Retro for 2017 is a equipped with some truly retro features, as well as modern hardware solutions. Most notable "pre-factory" features include deeper body contour, original style heel and original headstock shape and nut placement. Core construction features include a mahogany body base, figured maple top (two-piece top, split with abalone stripe), mahogany neck (pre-factory profile) and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (Santana jumbo frets, 24-1/2" scale, Birds inlays).
Major hardware and electronics features include Gen III Trem bridge, Phase III locking tuners and combined set of pickups (58/15 in the bridge and Santana in the neck).
