PX-Solar is the signature series made for Ola Englund, a string master who needs no introduction. Through his work with Six Feet Under, Feared, The Haunted and others, Ola has forged a style of his own and has become one of the most important axemen of today. His signature series under Washburn banner comes with eight models in either intermediate, or upper intermediate classes. PX-Solar 7C is on the verge between the two classes. It is a solid and double-cut guitar with an alder body and maple neck. There`s only one color option offered for this model, it`s Matte Black with black hardware. Only the PX-solar 160WHM is offered in white, while the others are black. Bridge section on the top is fit with the standard hardtail bridge with string-through construction and seven adjustable saddles. Pickups in the front are supplied by Seymour Duncan. SH1 and SH14 comprise the combo and are controlled through a very simple controls unit. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch, which also doubles as the coil-split witch, comprise the unit. Maple neck is fast, slim and very playable. On it`s top, there is a 24-fret ebony fingerboard.
