With three classic headless entries and the first ever Traveler with a regular headstock, Traveler expands the targeted demographic dramatically.
Guitars may sometimes prove too big, or too unpractical to travel with. This especially goes when one is traveling by a bus or plane. Both the buses and airplanes have very limited overhead space per passenger, so a regular-sized guitar or bass would have to be packed in the regular cargo area, which might damage or destroy it. But, since not every musician can afford to travel cross-country in his or her own vehicle, some of the brands came up the smaller travel-sized guitars. Traveler Guitar is the most prominent among them and their 2015 lineup is being expanded with four mind-blowing six string guitars. These new models come with built-in tuners, and redesigned V2 on-board amps. All four, of course, feature the headphones output jacks. Top of the line EG-1 Custom V2 in black, EG-1 Standard V2 in red, Speedster Hot Rod V2 in black and white, and Sonic L-22 as the first Traveler model with a headstock, update the already big and vast Traveler Guitar catalog.
2015 lineup updates start off with the classy EG-1 Custom V2. This black-clad beauty comes with a solid and single-cut alder body, classic Traveler construction, and classy styling. The most prominent features are the new V2 amp, gold-plated bridge humbucker, and bolted mahogany neck with a 21-fret fingerboard. The full specs list and a more comprehensive review can be found on EG-1 Custom V2 detail page on our site or Traveler Guitar`s official web site.
As the highlight of the 2015 lineup, new V2 amplifier is also found on the modest EG-1 Standard V2. While holding back in the visual department and decorations, EG-1 Standard makes up for it in the tone and playability departments, where it absolutely tears the competition apart. Even including the conventional guitars found in the same price range. The full specs list and a more comprehensive review can be found on EG-1 Standard V2 detail page on our site or Traveler Guitar`s official web site.
Traveler Guitar`s most prominent and successful model, the eccentric Speedster, is fit with the new amp for 2015. Speedster Hot Rod V2 is its name. All-maple construction, dual-rail humbucker with coil-splitting ability, 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard comprise the key features. The full specs list and a more comprehensive review can be found on Speedster Hot Rod V2 detail page on our site or Traveler Guitar`s official web site.
We`re wrapping the reviews with the magnificent L-22. It is the first Traveler to feature the classic headstock with 3+3 tuning machines on it. Also, it is the first time for a Traveler model to have a neck pickup – a humbucker at that. Solid, single-cut alder body, bolted maple neck, compulsory V2 amp and a 22-fret fingerboard promise a lot of fun. The full specs list and a more comprehensive review can be found on L-22 detail page on our site or Traveler Guitar`s official web site.
