Tree of Life Limited Edition is a very special guitar. It was made by a small team of PRS luthiers back in 2014 in honor of the staff at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. The entire series only had eleven units and one of them was auctioned at the annual One Night, One Show, One Cause benefit concert, guitar auction and golf tournament. The remaining ten were made available exclusively through PRS Private Stock Dealers. The Angelus Cutaway body of this super-exclusive flat-top was made of bloodwood back and sides and European bearclaw spruce top. It was paired with a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard on top. Elaborate Tree of Life fingerboard inlays stretch from the headstock to the sound hole. PRS`s official web site has not disclosed any info on the possible built-in or optional electronics for Tree of Life Limited Edition.
