AM Special series is a very uniform line of acoustic guitars. It features eight different body contours in it`s ranks and all eight feature identical specs lists. Only exceptions are measures of each model, such as scale length, nut width, etc. Other than that, materials, decorations, tone woods, appointments, they are all the same. Thus, AM Special Jumbo comes with a non-cutaway Jumbo body with fully acoustic construction. It`s made of mahogany back, sides and sound board. Binding around the top and back panels is also made of mahogany. Ebony is the only other tone wood featured on the models of this series. It is used for the belly-shaped bridge and 20-fret fingerboard. Tuning machines on this model are made by Grover and are plated in nickel.
