Small Jumbo made by Atkin Guitars is very similar to the regular jumbo, only smaller in size. It has 25-2/5" scale and one inch narrower body than jumbo. Also, body of this model is 1/2 inch shorter than jumbo. Body depth is the same on both body contours, it measures 4.5". Atkin`s AM Special series is dedicated to all-mahogany guitars. there`s eight of them and Small Jumbo model i one of them. It is made of mahogany back, sides, top panel and neck. Neck and body are connected through a 14th-fret dovetail joint. Neck on this model is equipped with a standard contour and it`s topped with a regular 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Belly-contoured bridge is also made of ebony.
